Past projects

A New Park, a Lost Town: Defining the Legacy of U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan— My undergraduate honors thesis highlighted the oral and photographic archives of multicultural military dependents who lived on Yongsan Garrison in Seoul, South Korea, particularly during the 1970s, to complicate and argue for more nuanced and interstitial considerations of empire, loss, and home when forming political opinions and decisions about the transformation of the former U.S. military base into a South Korean recreational park.
